Escuela de Medicina Dental

La Escuela de Medicina Dental se encuentra ubicada en nuestro Recinto de Gurabo y en la actualidad ofrece las carreras de grado asociado en Tecnología Dental y grado asociado en Asistente Dental con Funciones Expandidas.  

Recientemente la Escuela recibió la autorización la Junta de Instituciones Postsecundarias de Puerto Rico para desarrollar un innovador programa doctoral en Medicina Dental.  Este programa estará diseñado con un enfoque dirigido en brindar al estudiante lo último en la tecnología dental, en el mejoramiento de la salud pública y en el servicio a la comunidad.

Third Party Comments

Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)

The Universidad Ana G. Méndez, School of Dental Medicine UAGM-SDM, predoctoral program is undergoing review for Initial Accreditation status by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). There is a scheduled CODA site visit for the days of October 17 and 18, 2023.

In accordance with CODA requirements, the UAGM-SDM, requests comments from interested third party individuals. Comments must be sent to CODA at least 60 days before the scheduled site visit. The deadline for UAGM-SDM 2023 Third Party Comments is August 18, 2023.

Individuals who are interested in submitting third party comments, may contact the Commission office at 1-312-440-4653 or by email for submission guidance. Third party comments should be emailed to the appropriate Commission staff; comments should not be sent to the Commission office via the US Postal Service.

Comments must pertain only to the standards relative to the predoctoral program, or policies and procedures used in the accreditation process. Third parties include communities of interest and the public such as faculty, students, program administrators, dental-related organizations, patients, and consumers. Signed or unsigned comments will be considered. All relevant comments will have names and / or signatures removed and will then be referred to the program at least 50 days prior to the site visit for review and response. Negative comments received after the established deadline of 60 days before the site visit will be handled as complaint.
