Este programa está diseñado para desarrollar profesionales altamente capacitados en el sector aeroespacial. El programa integra principios de ingeniería, protocolos operativos y prácticas de gestión que son cruciales para navegar las complejidades de los sistemas espaciales y las tecnologías de sistemas de aeronaves no tripuladas (UAS). En respuesta a las crecientes demandas de la industria aeroespacial de profesionales capacitados y su creciente dependencia de los sistemas no tripulados, nuestro plan de estudios prepara a los estudiantes con una base teórica y formación práctica necesarias para liderar avances en sistemas espaciales, comunicaciones satelitales y operaciones de UAS.

The program provides an opportunity for graduates of undergraduate programs in Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science to advance their technical competencies and develop professionally through specialized courses and research in the field of telecommunications and networks. This program provides the necessary tools for the analysis, design and evaluation of network systems and other data communication systems. Students who successfully complete this program will be exceptionally prepared for future doctoral studies or challenging careers in industry.

The program offers a combination of technical subjects with a managerial perspective from engineering and technology business environments. The MSEM (Master of Science in Engineering Management) is designed for professionals in engineering, science and other BS degrees with quantitative orientation, who wish to advance from technical to managerial roles and need to acquire additional knowledge, skills and tools for management and improvement of technological or engineering environments.

The master’s degree in mechanical engineering with specialization in Alternative Energy provides the student with the opportunity to develop expertise through courses and research in the management of various energy sources such as solar, wind, ocean, and biofuels. Students in this field benefit from the excellent collaboration with the Puerto Rico Energy Center (PREC) in our Department of Engineering.

The program provides an in-depth introduction to key topics of network security and provides a balanced teaching philosophy with each class containing both a theory component and hands-on practice. The curriculum was specifically designed to cover the ten (10) core areas of Network Security as defined by the (ISC)2 – International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium. This will provide a solid background for obtaining widely recognized industry-standard CISSP (Certified Information Security System Professional Certification).
